I. Visa exemption cases for Indians nationals in Vietnam
All Indian nationals wishing to enter Vietnam must obtain a visa, except in the following cases:
- Valid temporary residence card
- Valid 5-year visa exemption certificate
- Valid APEC Business Travel Card
- Entering Phu Quoc directly, staying there for no more than 30 days, and departing from Phu Quoc to a country other than Vietnam.

II. Vietnam Visa Requirements and Validity for Indian Citizens
Indian citizens applying for a Vietnam visa should meet the following requirements:
- Hold an Indian passport valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages.
- Be outside Vietnam when applying.
- Not be subject to any entry restrictions in Vietnam.
- Depending on the visa type, travelers can stay for up to 90 days with either single or multiple entries.
- Travelers must enter and leave Vietnam within the validity period stated on their visa.

IV. How to apply for Vietnam evisa for Indians passport holders?
To apply for an e-visa, the applicant needs to prepare the following:
- A clear image of the Indian national’s personal information page (ensuring no information is cut off). The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Vietnam and contain at least two blank pages.
- A recent portrait photo (taken within the last six months) with a white background. The face must be clearly visible, eyes open and looking at the camera, with no glasses or hair obscuring the face.
- An online payment card.
- A valid email address to receive notifications.
